NIMMSA Conservation Fund Project

ROV Recon & Restoration Homalco Guardians will use remotely operated vehicle (ROV) technology to map glass sponge reefs and abalone habitat in the Discovery Islands, Bute Inlet, and Church House areas while removing marine debris from legacy mariculture sites. The project builds long-term Indigenous-led monitoring capacity and generates baseline data for future conservation planning.
